Description:
Mureybet

"Several villages, different from each other, were located in the Neolithic period.

Among these are the villages of Mallaha and Mureybet. At Mallaha in Israel (see other point on this map), there are remains of dwellings dug into the ground and stone walls. There are also several tools, a fireplace and stone millstones. Thanks to archaeologists, we have also learned that its inhabitants hunted gazelle and other small game. However, cereals (wheat, barley, etc.) did not seem to be part of their diet.

In Mureybet, it is possible to note the appearance of sedentary life and the development of agriculture. The houses begin to be rectangular and we find tools (see image) testifying to the presence of agriculture."
